Effect of Teneligliptin, and Teneligliptin Combined with Gabapentin on Alloxan-Induced Diabetic Neuropathy in Albino Mice

Diabetic neuropathy is a nerve disorder manifested by different faceted condition affecting up to half of individuals with persistent diabetes. Symptoms associated this disease such as palsy, painful polyneuropathy, thoracoabdominal neuropathy, autonomic diabetic amyotrophy, mononeuropathy multiplex, caused motor, sensory, and dysfunction which affects peripheral nervous system, gastrointestinal, pain receptors, urogenital, cardiovascular system. In study, type 2 diabetes was induced alloxan in albino mice. After induction, drug treatment initiated on the day 15, regimen group mice that teneligliptin, sitagliptin, combination gabapentin. investigation 21, 28, 35, 42 found significantly improved glycemic control, paw jumping response, grip strength (P < 0.001). Mice treated were observed significant increase blood protein Alloxan marked cell degeneration, teneligliptin sitagliptin showed tissue regeneration neutral effect body weight. conclusion, combined gabapentin results an sensitivity, strength, neural protection, reverses alteration biochemical parameters but weight alloxan-induced
